Việc phải can thiệp phẫu thuật đồng nghĩa với quãng thời gian nghỉ thi đấu kéo dài đối với Thái Sơn. Với dạng chấn thương dây chằng chéo trước, quá trình hồi phục thường mất từ 9 tháng đến 1 năm, tùy vào sự tiến triển sau mổ và khả năng đáp ứng phục hồi chức năng.
Điều này khiến tân binh của câu lạc bộ Ninh Bình chắc chắn phải nói lời chia tay mùa giải V.League 2025-2026, dù chỉ mới thi đấu chưa đầy 1 trận trong màu áo đội bóng mới.
