On February 1st, Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union (HCMC) said that the unit has coordinated with local authorities and philanthropists to organize Tet gifts for workers in difficult circumstances living in boarding houses in the area.
In the program, 60 workers received Tet gifts including necessities and cash supported by philanthropists, contributing to helping disadvantaged people celebrate Tet more fully.
According to the Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union, the activity has profound humanistic meaning, expressing the spirit of mutual affection with the determination "not to leave anyone behind". Tet gifts, although not of great material value, are a timely source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers in boarding houses have more conditions to enjoy a warm and peaceful Tet.
